Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,023,950,453 for the month of July 2019. According to the state’s Gaming Control Board, this amounts to a 2.91% increase compared to July 2018, when licensees reported a gaming win of $994,997,324.

In Clark County, the Las Vegas Strip posted a more modest 1.63% jump, while Downtown led the way with a 7.56% increase over the year. North Las Vegas was the only region to see a slight decline in gaming win.

In Northern Nevada, South Lake Tahoe saw a massive 16.88% increase, while the resorts on the northern part of the lake saw only 3.75% gains.

The State collected $73,918,158 in percentage fees during the month of August 2019, based upon the taxable revenues generated in July 2019. This represents a 32.45% (or $18,111,199) increase compared to the prior year’s August, when percentage fee collections were $55,806,959.
