The Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority (“LVCVA”) released their February 2019 numbers this week, and every major metric is up from the year before. Visitor volume was at over 3.1 million, a 1.9 percent bump from Feb 2018. January’s visitor volume was higher year-over-year (“YoY”) as well.

Convention attendance was up 8.5 percent from Feb 2018, as several new and returning shows (Association of Home Builders, Kitchen & Bath Show) offset the movement of several large conventions to January.

Citywide occupancy was also up 1.7 percent YoY, to 87 percent. This bump, along with ADR gains, saw RevPAR jump 10.9 percent to $113.15 from where it was in Feb 2018.
